Coupled with your work experience, your bachelor's degree in education will give you an edge as you pursue teaching positions in high schools, technical-vocational centers, alternative and magnet schools, tech-prep programs and other non-traditional educational studies. This degree program also prepares you to pursue a postgraduate degree in education or education administration. *The indicator that a major or minor is "mostly available" at a particular location should not deter you for seeking more information about the option. Field Placement Office This office coordinators student teacher placement and field experience and their goal is to provide education students with field experience opportunities that allow student to observe and work with master teachers, while practicing teaching strategies and techniques learned through the education courses. Although the office is on main campus, in Big Rapids, they have knowledgeable assistant placement coordinators on each of our off-campus sites.
